What I meant is that Holmgren is good at developing young QB's. When Favre played poorly, it was just part of the growing up process. As for the RB coach thing, there is more involved in bringing along a young QB as opposed to the rest of the positions, so it is much different.illini":b1b4a said:>|<>QBB<
Yes, he is a good QB coach, but the statement is still out of left field. The comparison is based on nothing tangeble. It is like saying that Walter Payton was a good running back under Ditka but he would have been a better running back under Jimmy Johnson.
And Farve didn't always shine as a quarterback under Holmgren. Does that mean that Holmgren wasn't a good QB Coach when Farve played poorly, or rather that Farve still had stuff to learn?
