Guilty pleasure: love me some Behringer Pedals. They’re inexpensive and they sound great. I know it’s not gonna make any points with the purist/elite snobs but it is what it is. Clone are in!I have another confession to make…and I hope my boy vonbonfire doesn’t see this…I like line 6 and most modeling gear. I had an original pod pro rack unit, bbe sonic maximizer, mesa 20/20 and two mesa halfback 4x12’s with mc90’s and ev’s…. That rig fucking killed. The key to the old line 6 stuff was find the good setting for each model and go with it. It doesn’t have to sound exact…it just needs to sound good. I used the twin setting for cleans and tread plate for the heavies… it worked great
I have two. The noise suppressor and my bro hooked me up with the chorus while my old dod was out for repair…I’m in love with Behringer Pedals. They’re inexpensive and they sound great. I also saw that tour.Whatsa Spotify?
Confession....I'm 46, and I love old school hip hop. No shame.
Also saw Metallica on the justice tour, with queensryche.
Yep. Raised right. Hahaha.
I used to rock a similar setup. Had a bbe sonic maximizer and several Line6 modelers going into a Carvin T100 power amp.I have another confession to make…and I hope my boy vonbonfire doesn’t see this…I like line 6 and most modeling gear. You can keep the Kpop! My wife has a $10k+ BTS collection. All highly collectible memorabilia.Kpop and the americanized versions of it that we see today: KATSEYE, Blackpink, La Sserafim, etc.
Girlypop, slutcore: Chrissy Chlapecka, bludnymph, Ashnikko, etc.
2000s metalcore and screamo: Fear Before the March of Flames, August Burns Red, The Calico System, etc.
Anything by Sofi Tukker.
EDM and House: Fisher, Dom Dolla, Jaded, and this mashup banger - 2010s EDM bangers.
Ummm, that David Byrne and St. Vincent song called I Should Watch TV.
*French Cooking Music* - station on Pandora that plays beautiful bossa nova. My favorite has been Caro Emerald.
I could keep going. I'm not sure how much of these are guilty pleasures vs. me just enjoying music.
Physically yes.I’m 53…. We are apparently getting older gentleman
I’m the same. My wife and kids laugh at me because pop pop is a metalhead… I went to grandparents day at the elementary school with my Pantera shirt and a skully…. I didn’t look very grandfatherly…Physically yes.
However, mentally I haven’t left 1988.
Bummed I never got to see Pantera, considering that’s all I listened to while everyone was digging on grunge.I’m the same. This place is full of devoted hard rock/metal/shred fans but we were all kids at one time and there were songs we liked as children that were not metal/shred or even on that radar screen. And the good ones stand the test of time.
My sister had this album. I had a crush on Stevie. But Lindsey was sneaky good.
What a great album Full House is. J Geils was such an excellent party band.View attachment 384029
A couple guilty pleasure spins!
I keep the crate downstairs with a handful to listen to. I have crates plural upstairs so I can swap out different albums to keep with phono.
Couldn’t agree more!Buckingham’s guitar playing is quite unique

My family moved in '76 and one of my new friends played 2112 for me. Mind blown from that first “swooosh!”.I just created a 70s playlist on my iTunes...full of cheesy stuff I'd hear when I was 8 or so in my mom's station wagon on the way to the YMCA or golf course pool....all we had was an AM station in my hometown in southern Mn. AM...cheesy easy listening 70s stuff....life was small until I heard Xanadu by Rush at a friends house....then, we went through his dad's record collection in short order. Lol
2112 was the only piece of vinyl I ever owned. My family moved in '76 and one of my new friends played 2112 for me. Mind blown from that first “swooosh!”.
