Guitar Straps

My go-to is a soft leather 2” strap with either leather on top and suede on the bottom or suede on both sides. I really like suede against my body because it doesn’t slip. I’ve been getting away from the buckle adjustment and going to the slit/loop type of adjustment, then I don’t have to worry about the plastic or metal buckle dinging the Guitar body. I’m not too picky but I like Levy’s and also have few Fender straps that came at a good price.

I like the Levy's double wide Nylon straps for my heavy LPs.
I have a double-wide, thick rawhide strap I use for my LP (check out my avatar). It helps spread the weight out. For my SG, my daughter gave me a leather strap for Christmas. As luck would have it, she happened to pick a good one. Works pretty well. I have a light leather strap for my Strat.

For the LP though, the wide strap makes a huge difference.
