I think we can end the arguments. It's silly to assume that people that have tried modelers and still prefer tube amps "just don't get it". There's reasons for our preference, which I think have been described at length in this thread already.

I’m one of the more pro-modeling guys on this forum, there’s still a Deluxe Reverb sitting 1 foot from my elbow in my living room that I’m hoping to trade towards an SC20 or a PRS HDRX20. Gear is fucking awesome.

Modelers are fine for goofing around at home or a band practice. They also seem to work if the whole band uses them along with sampled drums. They kinda disappear when mixed with acoustic drums and real amps though.
Never messed with AxeFX, have heard enough Kempers and Helix etc. Big shows are usually just all drums and vocals. 😁

The SC20 is a ton of fun, prob a bit overpriced but worth it IMO. Besides the SV20 I haven't seen a better small club Marshall ever. I mean I have a Friedman TS it has a great master and can do the same gigs but the little Marshalls bite man. Marshall knows how to do Marshall is what I get from the Studio amps
