Guys, how would you like a "diezel" contest?

^Not a bad idea actually :) We'll raise the funds quite quickly for this one.

Ok. Here is my suggestion. MDP is 20 Euro which complies with one lot. You can buy as many lots you want :D . Decision will be made by drawing lots. Every participant complies with the agreement that Peter or Terry will decide the competition by drawing lots. The winner can dispose over the total amount- only condition: You have to invest the money in a Diezel product or give Peter or Terry the permission to invest the money for a good cause- for exampel funding a young talent not able to buy an amp on its own- or something like that.
Any suggestions for improvement? :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
 
Forgot something: In case the total amount gathered will be, lets just pick a number,1000 Euro, but you want a cab for 800 Euro we agree on that the 200 Euro left go to fund Diezel company. Vice versa if you awant an Einstein for lets say 1850.- you have to pay the missing 850.- to finance the amp or alternatively give Diezel the permission to dispose over the money for a good cause or to fund Diezel or....., as mentioned above. But you can`t claim to get the money paid off!!! :rock:
 
Cool idea though for the price I think a 2x12 may be a better bet, AND, I'm currently looking at getting a 2x12, so, ya'know, makes sence for me to suggest such :D seriously though, a Schmidt or any other head would require too many people.
 
I vote for a cab too. not to expensive, EVERYONE would LOVE to own one of the new cabs with the new speakers, and the contest can stay within the Diezel Forum ppl.

Lets go for a cab ppl come on!

yes a cab too could be good...
a 2x12, 4x12 :)

or a lovely Einstein combo!!!!!!

I think it would be a mistake to limit ourselves to a defined item. If we go for a cab we would automatically exclude all those not interested in a cab which would decrease participation and we would finally collect less money. But if the winner can dispose over the money to choose a Diezel product of his own choice more people would participate than only those GASin for a cab.
Peter and Terry now its your call to roll the dices!

we should relax a bit and dont drive each other crazy until peter or terry state their opinion. all this speculating could put peter under pressure cause he may doesnt want to dissapoint us.

by the way : CAB WOULD BE COOOOLEST :rock:
 
My honest opinion based on just watching and reading this thread is that people interested in this have a genuine desire for something fun and I agree. On the flipside, with the building of cabs and the Schmidt production along with everything else, this idea is a bit chaotic at the moment. Everybody is all over the place based on what they personally want or need in their own rig etc. Compound that with the the various locations, currencies, exchange rates, etc. and we have the recipe for a bit of a mess. MY OPINION!

The more I think about this idea, the less I like it at the moment. When things settle down it may be a better idea.

I like the idea and it really would be funny to do that but i agree with Terry- it might be difficult to carry out :cry:
 
I am not trying to bring everybody down....please understand. We have so much stuff going on right now that I think we all would enjoy it so much more if we had a little time and space to really do it right. I think it could be fun but right now it would be a distraction and we all need more time in a day as it is to get things going with everything new. I have so many wonderful plans for everybody that if we can just be patient I feel the wait will totally be worth it. I am working on so many things in addition to the obvious stuff already. Once everything gets sorted I can then do stuff with merchandise and swag...and believe me, I am going to be putting out some fantastic stuff so we can all look good :thumbsup:

Let's give it some time and keep thinking efficient process and come up with some really special things and do this deal right. How about it? :yes:
 
No problem Terry. Would have been a fine thing to do but its not difficult to see for us that, some major problems can come with the baggage with such a "lottery", especially for those responsible for carrying it out, and paticularly if not everybody stands in line.
But when writing about those "special things" you made me really curious :lol: :LOL:

I totally agree with Xman. Best idea so far, and I doubt there'll be a better/fairer idea coming anytime soon, so I say we buy lots of 20 Euros each, the winner takes it all towards the product of his choice by Diezel.

I'm starting a list on this idea by Xman.
