Oh, that’s a really shitty teacher. Unlucky.Before the Gibson LPC I had a Japanese flying V, I remember it was dark red with black wood grain and a large white pickguard, I forget who made it; but it was a good player, and accelerated my guitar playing once I got it, I was around 11-12 years old I think.
before that I had a Norma strat-like guitar, with a useless trem, and amp, it was not very good, high action and difficult to play - I blame my guitar teacher at the time: he never mentioned getting the guitar adjusted, getting new strings, etc., and the lessons were crap...I was around 7-8 years old when I started guitar lessons with that guitar, and quit playing guitar because of both: the crappy guitar and crappy lessons.
My first guitar was a black Ibanez RG350DX. Not the worst, could have been better. Trem fucking annoyed me for life. That’s why my subsequent guitars have a fixed bridge lol
