It’ll be interesting to see how it pans out. Hopefully it will result in eliminating any grey areas with all this.
I do think it’s too bad how it’s being portrayed though. It’s not like it was someone that just wanted to win so they said they were a female. She’s been competing as and against females her whole career
 
The more I read about this the more stupid it seems. From what I gather the “test” was from last year and showed high levels of testosterone, but those tests had nothing to do with the olympics.
She’s been competing as a woman for her whole life and while she was good enough to compete at the highest level, she was not “man beating up women” good until this one particular fight. Even her opponent says she has every right to be competing. Randos on the internet are more pissed off than the women that got punched in the face by her.

I think people are just still butthurt over the opening and are lashing out at things

Really? Did you actually watch it ? That is definitely a dude. And one punch broke her nose and spun her headgear around like Daffy Duck's bill in that cartoon. High levels of testosterone and being disqualified from IAB AND having XY chromosomes. You think it's just blind lashing out ?
One of these days it might be your daughter having to compete against a dude.

The Olympics has rules. According to them she competes as a woman. If her opponent can understand that, I don’t see why other people cannot. If people want to champion to have the rules changed, then they most certainly should. But anything after that is just bullshit imo

I’d like to know more about the rules and how they applied. But this backlash could very well be directed towards the Olympics committees as much as anything.

I dunno. My Facebook was flooded with dimwits posting “I’m with her” memes of the Italian chick as if she isn’t on recording saying her opponent should be able to compete and even is sorry for the backlash she’s getting.

I may be wrong, but if a boxer came out with her god given dick hanging out of her boxing shorts, but her DNA showed XX, the same snowflakes would be up in arms.

Fuck we don’t even know that this girl ever took a test that showed XY. Just an alleged test that shows high levels of testosterone, but the results won’t be shared.

Some people just like having things to me angry about and this is an easy target

Okay I thought it was acknowledged that she had XY and high testosterone. I had also understood that the opponent thought it was unfair. I saw clip of her yanking her hand from the ref when he announced the winner.
