I do wonder however if the discrediting of the IBA is political and related to this issue. They also didn’t state exactly why she wasn’t eligible if I’m not mistaken, although presumably it had to do with sex.

It may be more heresy but I remember reading something about the IBA posting their “findings” pretty quickly after this Algerian girl beat an undefeated Russian boxer, hence nullifying the fight and letting her maintain her undefeated status.
