How does a James Tyler Studio Elite HD-P handle high gain? Ran it into an Engl Savage 120 with midboost preamp on and off to find out

I wouldn't worry too much about chasing a lot of guitars. Just get one good one, within your budget, and be done with it.

I think some of the best bank for the buck guitars are the ESP Ltd 1000 series guitars or 600 series artist signature guitars. They are superb playing instruments, and the quality control is good.

As @Nashville Riff Co says, there is nothing magical about expensive guitars that will make you play better. Plus, you'll never be able to tell in a mix or on stage with a full band.

I'm just really jaded with music and so I acquire instruments from time to time to keep my passion alive.

Probably getting a bit too silly now, I've had three new guitars in the past six months. And I'm looking at another.

It's pretty stupid behaviour. Just find an instrument you like and don't look back.

Since you're in Azerbaijan, I'd recommend you take a flight to Germany rather than the other places, and visit Thomann's music store. They will have a really large selection and I'm sure you'll find something you like.

But remember, budget is king. Once you make it as a famous musician, you can buy all the instruments you need. But till then, better to be grounded on terra firma.

In my case, I have a problem with GAS, it's something I've broached on the forums before.

They just are more pleasant to play.

I do have couple high end instruments, so I am not in a rush to waste money on a flight.

I am not planning to make it as a musician, I don’t care at all.

If you can afford it, it is not that big of a problem.

Nice, those should keep you happy then till you get the urge to pick up another.
