Actually I lied thinking back on it. I couldn't get in touch via the forum cause I was locked out but I knew
the email he used for Grier stuff.
Paraphrasing here:

"Hi Mike. You don't know me but I'm the guy you banned a few days ago on TGP for *whatever* and I'm really
interested in the Grier 5 watt combo. Can ya tell me more about it?"

His response was basically, "LOL!........ so the amp is blah blah blah"

Totally cool from that moment on.


EDIT: My memory is pretty bad these days so Mike could show up tomorrow and call BS on some of the details here. :giggle:

Mike is a wealth of knowledge on gear and never hesitated to discuss it in detail with me.

My first Marshall was 75-76 so I been around those suckers a long time.
I'd put Mike up there in the top 5 of everyone I've known when it comes
to vintage Marshall knowledge. He can go pretty damn deep!

He can make a Deluxe Reverb sound about as bad ass as I’ve ever heard. He also turned me onto Titan/Kaure guitars.

He once nursed a wounded badger back to health. Great guy!!!

I 100% can guarantee you I KNOW FAR MORE about Marshalls than that piece if shit. In fact................I spent time with THE Jim Marshall in the UK back in the 80s. So FUCK you AND THE FAT CUNT.
