GLydian works with G-Major software version 1.27.
And the "Save patch library to SyEx files in in your computer" should save the all the items in runtime library to the folder you select in the Save dialog box. Some time this save dialog box is misleading because it has "Save In:" entry box and "File Name:" entry box, but we need only the "Save In:" value. it ignores other stuff. And each of the patches in the GLydian runtime library will be saved with their patch name as the file name with the .sys extension.
Note that GLydian does not use its own proprietary patch format, it uses standard SysEx format which you can use to load with any other MIDI tool like MIDIOX.

Hello, I downloaded GLydian version 1.4 and i'm tryin' to run g-major 1.27 from it.

I wanted to save all my user patches for backup, so I tried the "add user patches to the patch library" option.
First of all, Glydian doesn't recognize all my patches (only the first 30 in the "open patch" menu... when i have around 60!)

Then, when I want to make a backup by the command "save patch library to sysex..." a save as window opens, but when i type in a filename and save, the file's not saved anywhere. I've tried another filename, to put an extension .syx, changing directory... but nothing works.

I think i'm doing something wrong.

I've tried in windows editor and in the java one. Neither one of them works.

Look at the bottom of the sub menu of "open patch" menu. It will have last menu item "More ..." which will open up the next set of patches in another level of sub menu.

Yes I have already looked in the "more..." but there are user presets that i cannot find.

Seems like Glydian doesn't receive them?

I love my g-major and hate the fact that of using the perimeter wheels to tweak users presets. I have my G-Major controlled by my Berringer FCB 1010 in stop box mode. So i down loaded the software from this sight and am trying make changes to presets through PC. i have little to go on so i could use some help.
thanks
Todd
