Finally got an MRI last Friday, and went over it yesterday. Good news/Bad news.. Good news is that they found no evidence of a stroke, everything looked normal. Bad news.. Doc said they don't have any answers for what happened. I continue to improve though, and I'm able to play a bit. Doc said that playing guitar is an excellent way to rehab as it works both the mind and the muscles, so I got that going for me. :ROFLMAO:
I have remembered to pray for your health in my prayers brother. May you grow strong and healthy again and be granted many more years and with it, many blessings also. ☦️

Time to find a Naturopathic practitioner. There is a reason for what happened to you.

Yes, the doctor made that clear as well. Unfortunately, the state of our healthcare system is pretty much trash. As long as I'm showing improvement, insurance won't justify the specialist. Doc told me that as soon as I stop showing improvement and/or regress, to let him know ASAP and he can make the case to get me to a specialist. Sucks to be sure, but until that happens (and I'm not wishing for that) I don't think seeing a specialist is on the table.

Keep in mind your problem could be an environmental toxin such as radiation or mold or something or somewhere you are eating and drinking.

Remove all fragrance items from your environment such as soaps, laundry detergents, air fresheners and such.

Why remove the fragrance items? I noticed that when females in my family wear perfume, it makes me feel really sick/disoriented!

did they scan your brain? Any leisons? Check your vitamin D levels. They had me overdosing on vitamin D for a long time when it was supposed to be temporary. I was literally fucked up from it. They think it’s a precursor to my ms. I can’t remember the name of it but there’s a temporary condition that is identical to multiple sclerosis. It’s just as brutal though. Have you tried a steroid? Sometimes inflammation or an infection can get you down. Fuckin insurance companies suck. I don’t know why anyone would want to shoot an insurance executive….

When we get over the age of 50 (actually at any age) we have to accept that we don't live forever, and we are all going to die sometime. Modern society just can't accept this for some reason and we all think we are going to live forever. I think reading one's Bible might give everyone a more grounded view of life and our fragile and extremely temporary existence. I wouldn't blame yourself for the things you did in your youth too much. Some people get away with it, some don't. One thing is for sure we are all going cark it sooner or later from something. Put your trust in the Lord. The things of this world are temporary but God's Kingdom endures forever.

We're of course led to believe that vitamin d is crucial and important to good to health. I supplement as it's impossible to get enough from the sun where I live. So if you don't mind my asking, what happened, what were your symptoms, and did you get better?

I can get enough sun here too but I get so many skin cancers now from my childhood exposure to it that I can't be out in it. I'm literally having stuff cut out or frozen off every couple of months.

Well everyone in West Virginia is eventually placed on vitamin D. As far as symptoms went I honestly don’t recall anything other than the onset of my multiple sclerosis. My endocrinologist was the one who freaked out about my levels. She also said that the only way to fix is to stop taking it and let your body cycle through it. Nothing they could give me to lower it. As far as being better…. No I’m worse. Gonna keep getting worse over time till I’m probably going to be laying in bed having someone wipe my ass and change my diaper. Guess what though…. Not this ole boy…. Long as the trigger finger works that ain’t happening… lol 😝

Yup, and I sure didn't.

That said, it's not like I understood the risks I took playing with a stolen vial of mercury every day for years until it ran out, having been absorbed into my hands / formed tiny balls in the creases of my hand prints. Heck, I was only 7 or 8.

Sure paid the price 'though.

I've had this issue since I was about 9. See above.

I get what I call an instant "brain zing". Everything gets edgy and I can't concentrate. Used to wind the window down on the way to primary school 'cause of my dad's aftershave. He didn't care of course. All in my head apparently. :dunno:

Yup.

Clean diet & removing the plethora of toxins we're exposed to daily is the only true way brother.

I did the exact thing as a kid, my sister had a bottle of mercury in her car and I would go outside and play with the beads of mercury for hours. Wow!!

What're the odds that we were equally-naive?

I kept the vial next to my bed in a drawer so yeah, it was an everyday thing for a couple o' years 'til it ran out.
My pops did the same thing as a matter of fact. I don't know that he linked it to any ill health effects but certainly recognized after the fact that it wasn't a good idea. What do you think it did to you? Have you tried any chelation therapies?

A lot of us are exposed to the mercury in thimerosol that's added to vaccines as an adjuvant.

Too big a can o' worms to answer mate, but thank you for asking; it's been a 50-year battle due to many other factors including a second major poisoning and 4 other heavy metals.

It all started with mercury 'though. Wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Sorry to hear mate, I wish you the best with it. It's a topic that interests me as we all have to deal with toxins to some degree or another, but not usually an acute exposure like you've suffered.

In order of appearance:

  • Yes, CT scan and MRI showed nothing abnormal
  • No legions
  • Oddly enough, my Vitamin D was WAY deficient. Like 20 on the scale is considered deficient, and mine was like 13. Doc had me take a super high dose prescription Vitamin D supplement once a day for 30 days, and then once a week for the next 30 weeks. I'm now doing the weekly one.
  • I have no idea why either, but it's becoming clearer to me all the time...
