i sold my bluguitar iridium on reverb last week, and he is now making a second claim that something is wrong with the unit. the first thing was proved wrong by a quick conversation, but now hes saying there is a ground loop(?) noise.... i know for a fact that it was functioning 100% and double boxed the snot out of it.
does the burden of proof lie with him? i would of course make it right if it was messed up, but he has made two separate claims of issues now, within hours of receiving the unit that i find suspicious...

If he really is having an issue I would assume it is on his end with cables, electricity or speakers.
im trying to find the youtube link to the test he made.. i really would like opinions about this cause i cant hear it.

Yeah thats what i thought. I just turned on my practice amp and its WAY NOISIER THAN THAT.

Unless I know the person, if I know the item was working perfectly when I sent it...the deal is done. Who knows what some numbskull did to it when he got it. Also this guy sounds like a moron.

I just looked at his other video and he has nice gear.. looks like he knows what he is doing. He also has another Bluguitar amp so he should have experience with them...

.. actually I just turned up the volume and heard what he is hearing.. watch out for that bird when you have the volume up lol... I have a monitor that is starting to make that sound and it drives me crazy.. just that one monitor. Does it do this when he plugs his other Bluguitar amp in?

I dont know. Im at work now and dont want to troubleshoot for him. I just know that my combo at idle has way more noise. At the same time i would never do anyone wrong. I just think he has buyers remorse beginning with our first encounter.

Ground loop noise? I'm not sure he has a complaint there.

Tell him to call his electrician. Ask him what year his house was built and when the wiring was brought up to code. Ask him how many florescent bulbs he's still got in his house or how many rheostats have been installed on his lights. Doesn't sound like you are dealing with the sharpest tool in the shed.

I had a guy file a claim with over a pickup he bought. The pickup was 100% "new" when I sold it but he was dead set on the fact that it had been previously installed. He wrote paragraphs on paragraphs to me about how dishonest I was and blah blah. People can be insufferable fucks
