I was raised knowing the flood of 1916 and the 1940’s was real and this was always possible. When hurricanes come in I always have supplies for at least a week normally. I’ll be honest I didn’t expect much from this and prepared no extra. Fortunately I live in the foothills and didn’t have anywhere near the damage of the deeper mountain regions, but my family is from Ashe county which was part of the harder hit regions in the mountains. I guess I didn’t word that very well, your personal assessment is exactly what I was saying happened to tons of people, and it’s happened to us here too. But here it’s flat ground for the most part, we have no concept of mudslides and stuff you guys deal with, the most likely thing to catch us off guard is tornadoes and storm surge off the beaches and up to 4 miles inland. If it is a direct hit, the 60 mile circle around the eye is a huge mean and nasty tornado and we pretty much know it’s gonna be almost total destruction if it’s a CAT 3 or higher

He will remember this photo on the day of judgment. While he had the ability to help others he was busy being a victim of his passions buying stupid luxury clothes. He will be in rags and torment looking upwards at those who he allowed to suffer, who will be in paradise. No help will be sent to him. Maybe he'll get his head on straight prior to and make the kingdom but these evil people are so consumed by worldly things and self it seems unlikely. The day of retribution and vengeance is the Lord's and he is taking names in difficult times like these.
