I have spoken with Peter via PM and he is just taking a break for awhile not leaving for good. Members like him are the reason rig-talk is what it is. Hopefully he has a nice vacation and we see him back soon.

:) :) :) :) :)

Strange thing the emotions: I have my VH4 to my tech for a little mod (of course Peter told me about the mod) and I miss my VH4;
but from the moment I've read Peter post I miss also or maybe more his presence on this board.
I don't know Peter..I've spoken with him only through emails..never ever recived in my life better support and kindness.

Filippo.

I'm new to the board here and new to owning a Diezel. It has been a dream of mine to own one of these for many years.

I was telling a friend of mine that I had posted here with a question about the amp and that Peter Diezel himself had answered one of my questions. My friend thought I was full of it..

Thanks again for building an incredible amp and sharing your passion with us..

Have a wonderful vacation from the board Peter. We will wait for you back, Papa. Your input here is indispensable!
Being in the moderators team myself in a 18000 members (musicians  ) forum, I know how you feel :) However, I look at moderating as just having a bit of common sense and fairly objective judgment which are in abundance here and never ceases to amaze me how nice and extremely helpful this forum is. Oh...and I never ever take it personally. The Internet is a strange animal and changed and continues to change people behavior in interesting directions.
Waiting for you to post back :)

Thanks for letting us know man! If Peter left for good it would take away the main reason why most of us are here.

Hallo Peter, das kann ich total gut verstehen.
Man sollte immer das tun, was einem gut tut und nicht das, was andere von einem erwarten.
Gruss Chris / Esslingen

So isses!

Peter denk an die Worte, die du mir vor kkurzem gesagt hast, was diesen Vogel angeht.

Konzentrier dich auf die wichtigen Sachen. Mit den Vögeln hier werden wir schon fertig! ;)

step aside...take a deep breath and then unleash HAGEN upon us! :)

enjoy your vacation!!!
\:D/

What a shame.. :aww: Rig talk is a very cool forum, it's a drag that one or two people can ruin it for the entire group who appreciate the great customer support that is here. Don't let them run you off Peter.

Don't let the dummies get you down. The customer support we get through this forum from you is part of the value of Diezel amps. There is a HUGE difference between a company that stands behind their product and one that you can't even get a real person on the phone or to email you back.

You have answered a few questions that I had and I appreciate it.

Owning a Diezel was only a dream until a few weeks ago, I thought the price tag was too high, until I actually tried one out and it was more than i had ever imagined -worth every penny IMHO. It is undisputed that you make some of the worlds best guitar amps and Diezel Amp owners thank you for this.
Enjoy your time off Peter, and please rock on.

Peter,
Kids are kids, irrespective of the age...... It's a matter of education!
Don't worry about the BS. They always will exist no matter how much you do the right thing.
Take a break and keep rockin' on Rig Talk.
All the best,
Oz

I just want to thank you Peter for all your help and patience concerning the trouble I had with my Herbert. Thanks to you its working great, and the sound... Well, I just couldn't live without it! The most important thing is that you keep on building your great amps. Without them this forum wouldn't existed anyway, so keep doing what you do best, and may I add... Better than anyone else

Have a great vacation!

Also, remember that for every "single" ignorant dooshbag flamer, there are Hundreds of us who sincerely appreciate you and your work!

Applause comes with the blessing and unfortunately, the badgering that comprises society. Thanks for the wisdom and kindness you’ve shared with us all, I hope its not the end of an era.

Even though I'm not a Diezel owner (I'd love to be, though    ) I read this forum almost everyday. Recently decided to register and this is my first post.

Peter -- I wish you reconsider and will stay around! Keep rockin'!

All the best,
Tom

PAPA COME BACK!! PAPA COME BACK!!!

I just want to say thanks Peter. I 've own one of your amps for the last 10yrs and it has produced some of the best guitar tones I have ever heard!

You also have the best customer service of any musical instrument company I have ever dealt with. :worship: :worship: We hope you don't leave the forum , but we will understand. You have to do whats right for you. Just don't let them fools get to you

thanks again Papa D. and have a nice peaceful Vacation :)

Who will be my PaPa now?

Is "The Chad" from the BLS forums still around?

Will miss you Peter and we really, really want rack mount Diezel preamps and poweramps and a rackmount VH4.
