Don't forget, Fargen designed the Legacy II for Carvin, also.

I heard the legacy was designed from a Bogner Ecstasy

Legacy II

new 3 channel amp for Vai from Carvin.
Yeah both designed to be like the bogner, and wouldn't supprise me if the Tol100 was an influence also. The legacy I and II, poor mans xtc. Carvin makes sum great amps and preamps, legacy, quad x etc.

As a long and loyal Egnater owner, I do want to mention that Fargen also makes great amps.
If you ever get a chance to try a MiniPlex or MightyPlex I think you will be impressed.

I don't think anyone is dogging on the guy's amps, per se, but more on how of an unprofessional
move it is to take a small builder's amp design, mod it, and throw mud at the original designers.

You don't see Bruce or Jeff modding a Mini Plex or another Fargen amp and saying how their design
destroy's Fargen's amp...they wouldn't stoop there (hopefully).

That's the difference.

Agreed, he would probably win a lot more people over if he said "We took a great amp and made it even better" over calling the amp stale.

That tells me all I need to know. God I thought that amp sounded just terrible at NAMM.
