Hello, this is my first post on here. Not sure if I can stop Reverb from getting funds out of my bank. I sold a guitar that was owned by well known Metal guitarist. I bought a VIP ticket and met the owner to confirm he owned and played on tour. He looked at it and said yes. I had him to date and sign the back of the neck along with a letter he signed as well. The buyer claimed he received it damaged. He waited over 19 hours after messaging me before before providing pictures of damage of a 5 way bent toggle switch and 3 bent knobs. He said it would be the next day before he could take pictures, but he sure had time to send a long message. Buyer claims for full refund but said there was no damage to box and refused to show pictures of the box. UPS wanted a picture of the box and original shipping label. Reverb's "resolution specialist" ask me for original shipping label. I told him I had it put on shipping box and that is how it was shipped. It takes 2 days ground delivery and they paid second day air to ship it back. Scheduled to arrive to me Tuesday the 21st. I had insured it via UPS for $3,000. Here is why I should not had sold it to the buyer. He first asked if could ship it back if the guitar did not feel comfortable and he would pay 10% restocking fee. That should had been a red flag. I can see small particles that looked to be metal and the 2 screws at the toggle switch now have wair from a srcew-driver. There is much more BS from the resolution specialist and buyer. If I cancel my bank account can Reverb still recover funds from my bank? I have been around guitars since 1981 and know this guitar was in mint condition to say the least. Not the case but guitar as I described and showed pictures. The buyer sent Reverb pictures of different shipping box but no picture of the guitar to email me and the pictures are compressed so you can not enlarge them without seeing nothing a blur. I am just mad. I really think he change out parts or I am going to receive a different guitar. Sorry for such a long message. Thanks
