I felt the need to amend this thread with this post:
I made a listing on a retro video game forum on FB today where I listed up a bunch of my retro video games for sale and had a guy interested. We finally got around to chatting on FB Messenger and turns out he lives in greater Chattanooga, the city I grew up in. His part of town is about 1:30-1:45 minutes away from where I live now and was curious if we could potentially just meet up and do the deal in person. I was like I mean if you wanna drive all the way up here, that's fine by me, but shipping will only be like $8 to you. He said he was going to ask his wife if she'd be up for a scenic drive tomorrow as he came up this way a lot in the past for his work.
That's how it's supposed to be. I don't know if he originally hoped I'd meet him halfway or something because I know his area, but even when I nipped that in the bud he seemed totally fine with making the drive himself to get the games in person. That's how e-business is supposed to go lol
