I think I want a Synergy Rig

Sound like a bunch of rack guys from the old days lol...these moduals may be good but there's no way they're better than the best all tube preamps.
IDK; I just watched a 2023 Vai rig rundown, and he's using his Vai module and BF module with Fryette power amps live.

I need a preamp for my E850/100 now that my E530 is gone. I still have my ADA MP-2 from back in the day, and a Mesa TriaAxis (somewhere if I can find it!). I'll wait for the sales in '24, still looking at the modules. The Vai sounds good to me, that's how I found the rig rundown; and right now for cleans the OS (Dumble module).

Since November I have plenty of new toys to keep my busy; and I need to get a rack case. I use my Line 6 HX-Effects in 4CM for effects and floor control (MIDI) so no plans for a rack effects unit. Furman (which I have), Syn-2 and E850/100. Will fit in a 4U. I had zero heat issues with the E850 in a 4U, should be fine.

I’ve had an MTS rig for at least the last 13 years and my RM100 finally bit the dust a few weeks ago, so I’m going to have to upgrade to a Synergy rig at some point. I don’t know if I should get 2 syn-2’s and a power amp, wait for a 4 module bay Syn-100 to eventually come out, or to hook up a Syn 2 to a completley new amp?

Back in the day, I had something like 30 modded modules, 4 RM100’s and an RM20 combo. I regret selling a few of the preamps, namely the Salvation Custom 3++, Salvation Terrier, Jaded Faith Douchey Douchbag (it was custom made for me and my sense of teenage humor).

I currently have the 8 preamp modules. The Synergy SLO is my go-to module. My old go-to module was my Salvation Rockerverb clone. Oddly enough, in my RM100, they occupied the same tonal space. The SLO is just more playable.

I have a Salvation CCV clone and it’s been my high-gain marshall preamp. I’d actually like Synergy to offer a high gain 800 module which is absent from the lineup.

The Mark series preamp nails that gainy Boogie tone -though low-gain Santana-ish tones are missing. Which is my only gripe with it.

My Jaded Faith Snakebite is a hybrid of a Framus Cobra and Dragon. Its the most versatile module I own. I can dial it in soooooo many different ways.

My Synergy T/DLX is my clean module. I use it for cleans and as a pedal platform.

The Vai module doesn’t get played a lot and I’m probably going to sell it at some point. Its too bassy and sounds more like a fuzz pedal.

Lastly is my Synergy Fryette Deliverance. When I got it, I hopped on the Synergy Facbook page to thank Steve for making such a cool module!!! I’ve been using it as my low-gain marshall style preamp and it had tone and headroom for days and days!!!!!

I don't think they're going to be coming out with a Syn4 or Syn100 anytime soon. As much as I'd like to see a Syn100 it would probably be way too expensive for me to want to buy one. A Syn50 is already $1500 So I'd imagine a Syn100 would be at least $2500 and probably be pushing close to 3k

If you're wanting to get a Custom 3++ again there's one on Reverb right now. Dude's asking price is a little high, but it's been sitting for over a month so you might be able to talk him down to a reasonable price.
