I can see that perspective; however, the insurance companies we pay for benefits don't assist their customers either; and I will say they obfuscate the process to make it even more difficult to understand which increases the probability that a pre-authorization or claim will be denied.

Let's face it, a for-profit company has an incentive to minimize their costs; they have to balance that with customer satisfaction. Low costs can decrease customer satisfaction...now add decisions that effect life, quality of life, and death.

For-profit health insurance is in a unique position compared to every other industry; this incident is their wake-up call; unfortunately, their reaction is making their situation worse. Instead of recognizing the issues they have with their customers / end users, they're circling the wagons and isolating their executives even further from the reality and experience of the average people who pay them. Their tone-deaf response is only going to escalate.

Yes!!! They will NOT tell you have to master the game. You just have to fail until you figure out the “cheat codes” so to speak. No lie. And the fucking target moves so you have to be ready to change plans. I have done it for so long and put in the work to decipher what they are looking for. Learning from the failure teaches you how to get the correct answer. Yes it’s not for those who are not willing to work the hay. And I do believe 100% that lives are affected by this BUT I work locally every day to know the rules for my patients and I hope/believe I personally have a handle on the game. On a different note…. I could hammer the medical field for how much people/healthcare professionals/patients fleece the system for themselves and not the better of the patient. Like everything, if there is a dollar to be made, there is someone trying to take a part.
 
I get free dental insurance through work and then still want to buy it from this guy.

What really is telling about the CEO shooting is not so much the act but how much support the shooter got. Kind of suggests that a lot of people are fed up with the American healthcare sector, which frequently bankrupts people. And yet, even though he was facing charges for some $120 million fraud, people will step up and say “he was a nice guy”.

On Cameron, I suppose it’s kind of telling that despite people with credible evidence that they were ripped off expressing their anger, there will be others who come out to defend the actions of people like Cameron and sow doubt and confusion among others about how he was such a nice guy.

I see both that anger and those discordant views that are actually quite jarring in a lot of things actually. Have been for quite some time.

You can fool some of the people all the time, and all of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time. I guess the internet that controls will eventually become the internet that destroys.

That's right, in fact any of Mark's amps I can get into production. Like I said here before if I can find a manufacturer for Mark's amps I will make sure everyone including Turtlefingers, i'm sorry you've been especially cool, I know it's been a long time, I will make sure they get the amps owed. For the record any new people reading this I was not part of the previous CCV orders nor took anyone's money, anyone that sent an amp or paid for one through me has been delivered so far. Not here to make excuses for Mark or whatever because shit was poorly mismanaged in the past but if you got people like the OP who have no incentive in the game trying to get shit shut down before it even gets started then awesome you did your job. You can now shit talk about Mark on your fixed income the rest of your life.

Yeah, masks and following someone to their alleyway definitely doesn't exist lol. I've seen people get hurt for much less. Again, I can see why nothing ever happened..probably mostly age factors and not worth it but can't say I'm not surprised with all the people he's ripped off.
