I was wrong, it’s $4.5 trillion, not $4 trillion, and it’s already been passed by House Republicans.
This isn’t fake news, nor liberal bias, this actually happened. So much for government efficiency and fiscal responsibility..

Let's see if you can spot the point in this paragraph that shows people who understand media bias why you can't trust NBC, shall we ? I capitalized it in case any morons are reading this
"It calls for $1.5 trillion in spending cuts, with an additional caveat: The House package has to include $2 trillion in cuts to the “mandatory” part of federal spending, which covers programs LIKE Medicare, Medicaid and food benefits known as SNAP, or $4.5 trillion amount in tax breaks must be reduced by a commensurate amount."
There is a lot of mandatory spending that isn't SS or medicare. Trump and Johnson have both stated more than once very recently that there would be no cuts to Medicare or social security. So what these stories are is hit pieces designed to scare dumbasses. And if you think this amounts to "They already did it", and I'm not saying you do, you are a dumbass.
As a side note however, at some point soon barring massive spending cuts by the federal government, social security and medicare will be forced to decrease benefits. And there is no spinning that into a democrat or republican issue. Congress and the Executive branch under all presidents have done fuck all to reduce government spending. Maybe because every time they try to downsize a useless, bureaucratic department or heaven forbid eliminate one, NBC, AP, NPR, CBS, ABC, MSNBC and a whole cadre of nanny state, big government socialist fucks start whining and putting out hit pieces trying to scare gramma into believing they are taking their social security away.
