I don’t think it really matters. I’d be more upset she didn’t tell me than about her doing it. (I’d also be shocked because she tells me EVERYTHING lol)

We were in our 30s when we met, we had lives before we started our own together.

I feel like I would have to be fairly insecure to be bothered by something my wife did, and stopped doing, before we even met.

I think the flaw in this is that we are talking about promiscuity BEFORE marriage. Is it inconceivable that a once promiscuous woman could be faithful once they are in a committed relationship?

It's not inconceivable. I had already posted I would forgive her for it if she had otherwise been a good wife. If she's loyal, decent looking, and can cook good what's the problem?

You're prejudging though. Porn is mostly made up of drug addicts, money addicts, sex addicts, or people forced into it. Maybe she isn't slutty at all but was addicted or coerced into it a few times while intoxicated. Maybe she had abuse in her family. Yes, chances are low. Chances are low for pretty much any marriage in a best case scenario.

However, an honorable man honors his word in marriage or he isn't much of a man IMO nor does his word mean much if it means nothing as someone as close to him as his wife, before God. People have the idea that marriage is bliss but it's less bliss and more a game of how much can I forgive and how much love do I really have. I see people calling their exes bitches and stuff. Dude has poor taste in women, apparently. If your wife was a famous porn star and she had a change of heart, you met and married her and things were good, a forgiving christian husband would live with what she had done. What if she had an abortion previously, and was now barren and couldn't bear any children? Would you leave her?

I also think the porn industry as a whole has changed dramatically in the last 20 years. It makes me wonder what individuals consider porn? Is it making movies? Is it internet only stuff like uploading your own videos with a partner? Is it just playing video games naked for money?
As a parent of daughters it scares me to say this, but should a young women that realizes she can make thousands of dollars a month just by posting nude photos of herself, really have that held against her the rest of her life as she matures and wants to start a family?

Of course each person will have their own opinion on that, but the tripe of porn = a lifestyle is largely overblown at this point
