You're not orthodox, so you don't really know what the religious perspective on marriage is in orthodoxy. Even if we are talking a secular civil marriage you're still not a man of your word if you go back on "in sickness and in health' and leave your old lady because she engaged in some behavior prior to meeting you that you find distasteful or can't give you children. Frivolous men are lonely.

Of course not.

We're all flawed and make mistakes in different areas. The realm of porn isn't some magical endeavour that exempts one from being able to turn one's life around and fully own one's mistakes.

I believe in redemption 'cause it's real. "Everyone" loves a good story involving defying the odds / rising above one's past.

I also think the porn industry as a whole has changed dramatically in the last 20 years. It makes me wonder what individuals consider porn? Is it making movies? Is it internet only stuff like uploading your own videos with a partner? Is it just playing video games naked for money?
As a parent of daughters it scares me to say this, but should a young women that realizes she can make thousands of dollars a month just by posting nude photos of herself, really have that held against her the rest of her life as she matures and wants to start a family?

Of course each person will have their own opinion on that, but the tripe of porn = a lifestyle is largely overblown at this point
