It's ok. "asking someone why my car battery won't charge. I use solar power after all and the sun doesn't disappear at night ..." -> many people would laugh at this question and think it's a joke. Many would get mad ... " oh man, this guy is an idiot". Many would get offended ... what do you mean? Solar power will solve the climate problems ( LOL ). Many would try to educate me in good will. Many would feel superior and educate me in a snarky way.
So you see how it goes ...
You chose to take from my remark the meaning that ... wait a second ... this is an attack to all those people.
Other people would go right through it and read that it's already too late.
Maybe some geniuses will calculate all the events that lead to us even discussing about this ...
And maybe a family in Irak would think ... what the fk do they even talk about?
Well to answer your “solar power” scenario you could simply explain to them how solar power works and it would be a very short conversation. Solar doesn’t work because the sun exists, it works when it is in direct sunlight.
If I was incorrect about my assumptions of your post, then tell me what you meant by it. What do you find hilarious about trying to relate to a parent who’s child went through gender surgery? What am I missing?
