No. This one is built for 16Ω so I can run it in parallel with my 4x12 cab.

I built an externally powered fan into the case, but never needed to run it.

The two power resistors are 33Ω @ 250W, wired in parallel.. pretty massive. They're bolted down to a finned aluminum heat sink with thermal paste. I've never seen it get warm to the touch.

I've seen 'em built with all kinds of different components..

As long as it can handle the power the amp is putting out, you're fine !

Today was the most relaxing work day I’ve had in months. I usually wrangle contractors all day but they all took today off. I finally got to work on some of my own stuff lol

I was up at 4:00am, at work by 4:30. Empty house. Made getting some spraying done easy. Way more productive when everyone else stays home.

It sure is. I’ve been going in on Sundays for office and paper work just to keep my head above water. I have to do it secretly because IT just gave me a new laptop so that I can control the hvac systems from home, but I also like to get away from home sometimes too lol.

I had 4 big projects fall right on top of each other. I just closed out of 2, I’m in the middle of a 3rd, and have a smaller (2,200 sqft new build) coming up in a week or two. I was going in for 5:00am during the summer (4:30 on sats and suns), but now that schools back in session, I have to wait until the kids are off to school.
