Is there ONE amp that you could get by with as your single amp?

Larry does everything.

There are a few amps I keep easily accessable so I can plug them in when I get the urge.

Main two are a slightly modded Wizard Modern Classic 50 and a Monomyth modded Marshall 1987x. They don't sound anything alike.

Was just talking about it, but pretty happy with my Thrasher. Super versatile, even great cleans if someone is into that sort of thing.
Has pretty much everything I could want for tone shaping, recording, loop setup, and takes any combination of tubes if I want more versatility.

Just curious if there is an amp that you could live with being the only amp you have?

Edit: for me.....I certainly could get by with just my Silver Jubilee and a SD-1.
Yes, easily and preferably.

I really don't like owning alot of amps. Guitars, yeah but not amps. I have "my tone" I try to dial in and that's it. And what's funny is it's basically the same tone I've always tried to dial in for the last 40 years that's worked on any style music I've played from 80's rock to metal to Alt rock. Now sure I've gone through alot of amps to dial in my tone, some worked some didn't but when I found it I've generally stuck with those amps for years.

Although I don't have one yet, Headfirst Alta checks every box for me. I have a Randall 667 which is my primary gigging amp, and I feel like the Alta would be an upgrade from that.

I could also live with a 2203 and an SD-1. Mine has a 3 way bright switch, buffered loop, and NFB control. Ride the volume knob and boost as needed. It covers a lot of territory.

Probably a Larry

They always have best in class clean, best in world mid gain, and best in universe high gain

I'm the opposite of jabps though id rather have a bunch of amps and a few guitars - tele, pointy, and Les Paul and I'm golden

Peavey VTM60. It's my amp. I've had a good amount of really cool amps come through my room, but a VTM always stays.
