Is there ONE amp that you could get by with as your single amp?

KSR PA100R + 2x Syn-2 rack; it can do about anything I'd ever want. The KSR amp is new but the Syn rack has been my #1 for a long time now. Kinda cheating since it is modular and I have a ton of modules. Plus I have it 4CM with an AxeFx III so it can really do anything you can think of and do it well. IMHO.

Love my more traditional amps, too, of course. Of those, I think the SLO would be last to go.

Just curious if there is an amp that you could live with being the only amp you have?

Edit: for me.....I certainly could get by with just my Silver Jubilee and a SD-1.
Love my Jubilee Studio! I've been getting some great tones with a Keeley Noble Screamer into the Jube

Laney is out, Morris Sirrom is in.

That being said, I don't want to stick with just one, so I'm on the list for a Morris UK68

Every sirrom clip i've heard sounds excellent

Yeah man its fucking killer. Mine is an early "simple" one, single channel, no extra switches. It makes me smile every time I plug into it. The master volume is also the best I've ever heard, like pushing up a fader on a mixing desk.

Was just talking about it, but pretty happy with my Thrasher. Super versatile, even great cleans if someone is into that sort of thing.
Has pretty much everything I could want for tone shaping, recording, loop setup, and takes any combination of tubes if I want more versatility.

The Thrasher is a unique amp, for sure. Too bad Randall lost their minds on the price. $2100 for a Chinese 50 watt? Please...🙄 They were just $999 what, 4 years ago? They're price gouging just to stay in business at this point, which I estimate will backfire, eventually. Dumpster fire.

Of course it will backfire, because no one in their right mind will buy one at that price. It's a masterclass lesson in sabotaging your own sales.

Yep, and the "backfiring" happened instantly. No one has talked about Randall in years. They are effectively forgotten by now except for the Dime nerds. (I say that with love, having grown up on Pantera)

Yup.

I think the Satan, the Thrasher, and the Diavlo 100 would all have sold really well if they were priced reasonably. That would have been great, because there would be some used ones on the market. I would definitely be interested in trying out all three.

Definitely not. When you are a True Tone connoisseur and purist like myself, I need a different amp and pedal selection for each very slight variation in tone. I need at least 50 amps.
