The most fun part would be mimicking the idiosyncrasies of their playing, though

Phil (who seems like hes probably a really nice dude btw) does this really fucking annoying thing where he does a half bend/half vibrato of full barre and power chords all the fucking time

And I'm sure he thinks it sounds cool and like he knows what he's doing, but it really just screams "I'M A BASS PLAYER AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY GUITAR"
 
I'm sure they do the clickbaity thing because it's been proven to make them more money. Why else would they do it? They're the ones looking at viewership and engagement every day and talking shop with other Youtubers, not us. Most of these dudes are doing this full time now and need to maximize their income. Someone like Ola (who doesn't resort to clickbait titles) has other sources of income so he doesn't have to. Seems pretty simple to me. As always, follow the money.

I don't fault anyone for making a living or anyone's view to critique it.
I watched that video yesterday or day before. Didn't watch it for the title, but to hear what those new pickups may sound like and enjoyed the comparison.

I wanted to start a music channel at one time before I saw all of the reactions on threads in music forums :ROFLMAO: Personally don't mind people shilling their videos so much as long as the member participates in threads outside of self promoting. Otherwise it's kind of tasteless, imo.

dude start the channel, I think we could use with more female music participants in the guitar verse. the issue I have is with the army of "influencers" who "love" a new product every week and "swear it is life altering" in some way.
