This is easily the most shameless excuse of a marketing exercise for a country in the entire world. We’re about to have a President who sold fucking Bibles, Gold Sneakers and anything he could put his F’n face on, including fantasy images 😂. Of course these guys are selling out. That’s what we do here. As a band would say, “yeah, we sell out every night”.
The amount of heinous, cheesy, questionable shit that people, for over a 100 plus years have done and had to do, in entertainment and the arts to be commercially successful, is staggering and pretty much SOP.
It’s free, I can stop and move on to something else anytime I want. I guess I just don’t care about it too much.

…and I’ve been where Smash was last weekend. On the job, in a crawl space lying in a heinous liquid that would question the existence of God and believe me. If I could cover my bills and provide for me and my Wife, whoring musical gear and getting to travel places, meet other players/whores, check out, up and coming shit as opposed to lying in it, in 38 degrees (Fahrenheit for my Roo homies). Guess which I’m picking.

This is one reason why Kyle has 47K subscribers, and my page (which I've been putting out vids since 2016) has 1K subscribers. That said, I totally get it & give zero fucks, I just do it for fun and to pay it forward so my production value is minimal and right to the point. I'd rather spend money on gear to impress me than on gear to impress you.

...And, for the guys who want to make a living at it, you 100% have to play by the rules. I'm happy for anyone who can make a living in music, so I also don't hate on them. Good for you dude! My work's YT is monetized so I totally get it.

I will say a few years ago I realized enough guys had channels that had blown up that anything I was doing was kind of a waste of time. ...but since I kind of do it for me I don't care and keep going, trying to learn something along the way.

Yep, I thought the Painkillers stuck out. I think have a set in a drawer (maybe7 string though) and may need to break them out.
