History always starts with Israel being attacked out of the blue doesn't it. They probably hate them for their 'freedoms.'

Indirectly, yes. But it's also personal for me on a human level. The suffering there is immense. If one is at all against evil and injustice, this is a good time to call it out. People wonder how the holocaust happened. Just like this: an absolutists/supremacist ideology, propaganda, censorship and the means to do it (Which is the US by the way). Israel can't do this alone — you and I are paying for it.

Again you're posing the question as if in a vacuum. I bet you didn't know Israel was bombing Gaza in March 2023 either. Israel is going to do what Israel is going to do.

More reasons to reject protestantism, which still holds that jews are a chosen people and as such constantly push pro-Israel propaganda to American evangelicals. I myself was taken by it for many years. Protestantism=confusion. The jews are the natural olive branches that were torn off from the olive tree. Some will be re-grafted but as a nation it was over for them thousands of years ago.

I'm not protestant or even Christian and I don't have even the slightest inkling of Jews being "God's People". And I'm not influenced by ANY propaganda. I am and have always been a voracious reader with an attraction to history. And coincidentally a fascination with Russian history ( Pre-Stalin. In fact I took about 7 Russian History classes in college and would have majored in it if I could have. I settled for poli-sci and English.)

Anyway, it seems from my POV that "Someone" here is influenced by propaganda, but it sure as hell isn't me.

You sound like the US mainstream media who are deliberately not exposing the atrocities that the US is backing because as you know, the US media is largely - if not entirely - beholden to the US gov. You don't know or don't care to look, even when I post videos, reports, historical accounts and so on. It doesn't matter though, because the rest of the world sees it, and the rest of the world is increasingly coming to reject it. It is not smart to go up against the US however and that's why countries that otherwise would intervene aren't doing so. And also not to mention that Israel has nukes and are crazy enough to use them.

I wasn't really directing my post at you but the USA is pretty thick with pro-Israel propaganda if only as a side effect of the large protestant population here. You won't find the same level of adulation for jews in orthodoxy.

The story within the US is almost one sided pro-Israel. That college aged morons have found it a popular cause doesn't cloud my vision that Israel is just another middle eastern shit state that was formed in violation of a lot of international agreements. I'm not actively against them i.e pro-terrorist because I feel they are there for a greater purpose. That purpose doesn't give them the right to do much of what they are doing. They have the same level of criminal leadership we see here, perhaps even worse.
 
BTW Floyd, Israel is occupying the Golan heights and the West bank (In addition to bombing Gaza, where Israel's "withdrawal" still meant blockades, control of utilities, regular sniping, bombing and so on).

You seem to have strong opinions about it, as do I. Even if we don't change each others minds, it's possible that others will benefit. And it inspires me to dig deeper. To the extent that you provide sources to consider I would....Are you asking that I not respond if you comment or what?
