russia is a major world power, with an economy equal to the state of Texas with military doctrine from the mid 20th century.. At the end of the day I'm an isolationist I guess. At least as far as Ukraine is concerned.

If the TRUTH was actually on full display what Putin is doing is needed.

If Putin is the devil dictator the MSM portrays him as why take a shithole of a country and not a prosperous one.
He is cleaning house and literally helping many Ukrainians and taking back what is Russia's to govern better.

At the end of the day for ANY war it is ONLY the politicians who lose their job and the people on the street really only see a change of government.
Imagine you're losing your job and you can send in a military to save 'your' job at the expense of 'others' lives. This is what's EXACTLY happening and NOTHING more.

Putin has warned THE world, any attack on Russian soil will lead to Nukes being used and he AIN'T joking. Anyone want to test him.....good FUCKING luck.

Who has "bought into" anything in this thread so far? As I have stated before, I have friends all too close to this situation. There isn't just one reason this is all happening, it's a very multi layered and complicated situation. Anyone wanting to make this a clear cut black and white thing, are the people who really have no concept of what is at play here.

I have family, relatives and many close friends in Russia, 2 of them working in KGB hospital in Yekaterinburg…
I am well aware of exactly what’s going on, and the reasons behind it.

The main stream media in North America is full of absolute pure organic bullshit, as usual, lies and agenda-based corrupt propaganda.

I completely respect your thoughts, but, we can agree to disagree…

To cover your hairy ass put a disclaimer statement in every post saying that's it's 'your' opinion only and that it's not the site's position as they are neutral.

EVERYONE knows you wouldn't moderate based on a person's political persuasion. I mean ALL of us know that and by some chance you did people would tell you so you could take that into account and REmoderate.

Yes, I treat everyone equally. Thank you for noticing! "Strangers" don't know that 'though so I'm happy to allay their suspicions by not publicly favouring one side or the other.

No matter what this is depressing all around. People that don’t want to pay attention or think it doesn’t affect them will notice when they are paying over $5 a gallon for gas and their retirement accounts have tanked.

I agree wholeheartedly that the shit they put on the news isn’t trustworthy and that there has to be more layers to this than what it appears.
 
This is happening because Biden is weak. Putin invaded under Bush, Obama, and now Biden. He did not under Trump bc he wasn’t sure what Trump would do. He’s invaded within the first year of Biden’s admin bc he knows Biden will do nothing significant. China is eyeing Taiwan very hard right now. I predict China invades Taiwan in the next two years.
