Yes it is.. I've had it now since '03 brand new. I remember ordering it out of the Sam Ash catalog.

Night and day difference. RS guitar works kit in all of mine. Removed the ash tray from the 79 and grounded to the tail piece stud.

Every Les Paul I have or have had gets converted to 50's wiring.

I love 50's wiring and turn down for clean.

I left all that ash tray/caging in my '80 LPC, there is also a cup in the switch cavity. That guitar is by far the least microphonic guitar I have. That thing had 300k volumes and 100k tones stock from factory! Sounded horrible until new pots.

Just finished changing mine back to 50's wiring, glad I did. The Tone Nerd Whisky Set sound killer, thanks Scott !!

Yeah man.. Don't own a LP, but I've done all my Guitars in 50's.. The rollback just can't be beat.
Played Actives for a long time and didn't miss what I never knew..
Just did my latest shredder in 50's with Bourns PP Pots.. Split Neck and Series/Parallel on the Bridge..
