I set up targets ( 3x5 index cards) on 3 target stands about 5' apart 15 yards out on the right edge of the berm.
Looking around that berm is another berm at 100 yards where a steel IPSC sillouhette sits. Between the two berms is another berm at 250 yards with another IPSC steel sillouhette set up.
Use a shot timer. Start with 4 rounds in your pistol and shoot two in the right 15 yard, then two in the center 15 yard. Then do a reload and shoot two in the left 15 yard. Transition to carbine ( load mag to 4 rd.) shoot two in the left 15 yard then two in the center 15 yard. Reload, then two in the right 15 yard, step around the first berm and put one on the 100 yard steel and one on the 250 yard steel. Subtract 1 second for each miss.
This is just one of various routines. We usually run for 2 minutes before beginning the drill. And it gets real fun when we go in at night and use the thermal and NV stuff. Regular white light as well. And I incorporate shotguns often.
