No. I have a Reaper 7 Multiscale that I keep 11's on. It's always in tune..Mmm...wonder if there's tuning stability isdues with a neck that thin?
It's also acoustically the loudest electric I have..

I've had other SLS Elites. They all have the same neck profile. I prefer a much wider profile - I'd try one if they were 43mm at the nut and Gibson scale. The C1 feels better with the longer scale, but same 42mm at the nut.Did you own one? neck really that slender?
Yep, Andy's vibrato is tops.I don't need another guitar but I am a huge Andy fan. Dude is rock solid and King is such a good show. Surprisingly, Andy plays less lead than Wead does live but he has such a distinctive tone and feel. Awesome vibrato too.
All the Elite SLS models are Ultra Thin C, I believe. The Apocalypse models are Thin C, which are a little beefier, but still narrow. The Ultra Thin C is the narrow one with all Tuning Pegs on 1 side..
A regular Thin C is thicker with Pegs on both sides of the Neck and I do prefer it. I have both..
Ever have any tuning issues with them based on the ultra thin neck?I've had other SLS Elites. They all have the same neck profile. I prefer a much wider profile - I'd try one if they were 43mm at the nut and Gibson scale. The C1 feels better with the longer scale, but same 42mm at the nut.
What is painful about Schecter is they truly make very good guitars, spec’d out nicely in the $1000-$1800 price points. However their issue is quality control. I have owned 4 or 5 Schecters, I currently have 2 of them, an Apocalypse 7 string and a CS-6 that I’ve used as a cheap modded platform.I've never heard anyone give a bad report on a NGD Schecter. I've looked at their semi hollow a few times. What's weird is they basically just reversed a Gibson headstock, lol. Reverse open book....
No. I've had mostly C-1 SLS Elites with a Floyd, (2 Antique Black Fade, and Blood Burst), and I had 2 PT Elites. Those were Hipshot bridges, no issues. They have great string alignment/straight pull to the tuners.Ever have any tuning issues with them based on the ultra thin neck?

One of their guitars, a 6 string Reaper neck-through had a weird issue where the frets above the 15th fret began to cave inward toward the body. It was slight, and not something I noticed until I had the guitar for a month or two, but over time it annoyed me more and more. Then I had an SLS Elite 7 string that was gorgeous and played amazingly well. However when I was recording with it, I noticed my lead guitar parts kept being slightly sharp. I have a long history of setting up and intonating guitars, and this one would pull sharp above the 12th fret, even when perfectly intonated. I didn’t notice it until I was recording with it, but I wound up going back and re-recording my lead parts with this guitar as it frustrated me.
Having said that, the Apocalypse 7 string I have is simply phenomenal and it’s a guitar I’ll keep forever.
Love that headstock. Hope they work them into all their Super Strat models.Last year I bought a Reaper 7 Elite Multiscale. It was beautiful. I made a proud post. But then I realized it was certified defective.
The flat that's supposed to be under the Nut on the Neck was well into the 1st fret making 1st position chords hard to play. AND the Frets were improperly spaced so every chord was FLAT no matter what you did. Fuck..
I BATTLED with Sweetwater to take it back and they wanted to send me another and I agreed. Not only did it have the same issues, but the workmanship was crap compared to the 1st one. Damn. That was a let down.

I ended up buying a cheap Omen Elite that was good and I put in different pickups. It plays and sounds really good.. Schecter Pickups are really good, but the ones in this guitar were like the Apocalypse and I wanted something different..
I’d like to have his “tuning issues”…Fuck to the no
You think Andy Larocque has tuning issues live
I've been looking at those ever since they came out, but avoided them because of being made in Indonesia, (bad experiences).. Seems later 2023 and most of 2024's moved back to Korea? They're nice looking guitars. The red is prettyI’d like to have his “tuning issues”…
LTD necks are surprisingly stable - even the thin ones. I was pleasantly surprised when he played the white LTD 1987 Horizon Custom - I had just gotten the same guitar a few weeks earlier.
Even Jimmy Fallon's band knows the guy!
No emoji needed. It was obvious.Just checking back in on my previous post...I should have placed an emoji or something in there. I totally thought you guys would pick up on the sarcasm and irony. Apologies.
He even tore it up in when he was taking a break from King D. For some weird reason this video is labelled worst video ever but it was a small side project and small budget and all, the song still rips.
That is the funniest thing I've seen on Jimmy Fallon's show in a while lol
