I'm with Zachman.....there's no reason to buy a small wattage amp unless you have an old school Marshall or some other type with no MV taper. I've had plenty 50-120 watt heads and other than a few Marshalls I've never had an issue playing at whisper volumes with any of them and that includes an SLO and lots of Marshalls. Right now I have a 2C+ and a JCM 800 both into a 400 watt power amp, out into 4 cabs.
