i mean yeah hes in his 60s, so is dave mustaine and his new song sounds as fast as anything hes done? jeff beck and iommi on the new ozzy songs sound better than they did in 68 and they are pushing 80. i think its more lack of coke and giving a shit with lynch

I don't.. did he breathe on it once?? Same with the one covered with old jeans and diff coloured pants. Took a Pic with it and put it back in the case.
Who the fuck knows lol.....He did some ads with it back in the day....always liked that one.

You wanna hear someone struggling? Feast your ear holes on the vocal stylings of Mr. Dokken himself. From last night…

I choose to remember the George I saw many many times opening for Priest, Dio……..he was on every time.
The guy is old. He still plays guitar for a living…he isn’t a fat bald guy that doesn’t take care of himself.
I think he plays great still. Just my opinion.

See now I feel like a dick for clicking on that, that’s gonna up the view count creating this fake illusion of excitement for this shit and suckers that can’t help themselves are gonna continue supporting

I've seen 20 vids of him in the last 30 days. 10 are awesome, 10 are WTF.

He thinks he is Jeff Beck, and it's cool to be off half the time.

Whatever. Lynch is the fucking man. I'd give back your moms virginity to play like him for 10 minutes.
I am loving the stuff Lynch is doing with AON and Terry Ilous. I thought George's instrumental record was great and so was the first Sweet/Lynch record. Ray Wise was a terrible choice for a singer. I am glad George dumped him after two shows. The tour got off to a rough start, but all I have heard is rave reviews from fans about what George is doing with AON and Terry Ilous. To me George seems like he absolutely on fire right now. I wonder if a record company like Frontier connected these guys after the Ray Wise disaster?

Seriously, what do people fucking expect when one is 60+ years old? You slow down. Its a sorry ass fact of life. Golden years? More like your shit brown years, much like what your Depends diapers look like.

Mustaine is only playing the way he still does because to his dying death, he wants to outdo and out perform James Hetfield and the rest of Metallica. He is beyond the most bitter man in the industry (metal genre for sure) and I guess rightfully so in some sorts. Kirk Hammett is a joke. However, you pay the price when you're a drunk mess. Don't get me wrong, I like my alcohol but I'm not a drunk ass either. In excess It had never done anyone good in life. He made his bed and he's lying in it just fine. Good for him.

Iommi has never been a super technical or fast player. Beck still does ok in his field but not breaking any new ground.

The beginning of this song gives off a serious "Tattoooed Dancer" Ozzy/Zakk vibe

I know this latest tour has been plagued with rotating singers but here he has a young band do a tune with him and just like the other vids i have seen, he's behind the ball lead wise with his timing and phrasing. In short, after refinding his form the past few years, he sounds shitty in my opinion. Glad i saw him when he was cooking a few years back. He is definitely " off" again. Singer in this one sounds petty good though. Thoughts?

I did not think it was that bad , the drummer to me seemed to go off and sped up slightly in his solo . maybe too many shows with Don. recently trying to find the key , but this is not bad , could also be and in ear montitor issue , at least he has that tone back and not the single coil Strat into a dry plexiwith a phaser trying to play tooth and nail , now that period was horrendous

you know what i say about monitor issues?? get a better crew

I thought the band played great behind him. Singer did a good job here too. The obvious standout was the guy who has been touring this stuff for 35 years. This isn't his regular band anyway I don't think, they just collaborated on some stuff and were there to play on that occasion. ( I think anyway) His drummer and latest bass player have been pretty steady I think.

For the record I do still like George but I don't like when he goes back to the "creative" jam phase where he is reaching for notes and dragging or playing out of key because he strayed too far off a lick. It's fun to play that way sometimes. Put on some delay, just play all these funky notes and patterns that don't fit but add that supper fast legato vibrato at the end of what you do and play it real choppy. You will feel like George!

Much better here.. a tune he hasn't played to death and he has more fire for. He is more straight forward in his lead and it totally works. I am wondering if a large part of this is excitement for the material as others have mentioned.
