Just to re-open this thread for anyone who is interested.. I got my lynch super V in my JCM800 combo today and I am digging this speaker big time! You'd think that rate at 150 watts that breakup would not occur but i found the opposite, seems to have a tight crunchy break up out of the box with my amp. Slightly smooth on the top end, there is a tad bit of high end popping on high notes because the speaker is so new and because i tend to record bright ( live i would dial back treb and presence some) but I am digging this speaker. There is enough v30 in it to make it standout but enough greenback crunch and mid range to make it a perfect speaker if you have a 1x12 or combo. I'm going to run this on top of a greenback 4 x 12. Thumbs up soo far. I can do a soundclip if anyone is interested.. i didn't find enough info on this speaker before I bought it and i took a leap of faith.
PS- this speaker is great for Lynch,Ratt tones and gives me a nice clear punch when i want to do medium gain stuff AC DC style. I was playing some KIX "Blow my Fuse" earlier and it sounded wicked.
