Marshall JCM 800 2204 vs. 1987 Lead vs. 1986 Bass, can anyone compare these for me?

I'm thinking about getting an old school Marshall or Ceiratone clone and I'm unsure how these amps compare. I've played and owned a JCM 800 2204, but I have never played a non-MV JMP 50 or Bass JMP 50 (like Super Bass, but 50 watts). I plan on having a PPIMV installed if I get one of the non-MV amps. How would all of these amps compare?

If it helps, my sound is like a mix of Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Slash.

i think i saw a Jmp 50 the other day Bass Rack Head ?
but i dident pay much attention to it but i do know its a bass head
i think the asking price was $400 not sure through i need to go back and check it out again

I've had a 1987x and JMP 2204.

Great Marshall tones from both. Both love OD pedals in front.




Can't lose w/ either amp if you like Marshalls, but these days....I like having a MV.
