Yeah, after Mike offered to build me a Granophyre to replace the Obsidian, I listened to videos of the Obsidian and Granophyre back to back and in a blind listen test, I could pick the Granophyre out every time. It's definitely got more mojo than the Obsidian. I'll do a short video when I finally get the amp and update that old thread.
Mike is now offering Mods to the Obsidian. It supposedly fixes some things about the amp such as making it more responsive, more harmonic and better clarity overall. Clean channel is better, Crunch channel is more "different" from the Lead channel as well as the Lead channel being more open sounding. A buddy of mine sent his there and is getting the mods done now so I'm curious to see what he thinks when he gets it back.

Also, I got a Carstens Grace Deux yesterday and yeah, it's a killer amp that has almost an endless amount of tones in it. Still haven't scratched the surface on it but it's up there with some of the best I've had.

Congrats on the Grace Deux! I really love mine. I've never experienced an amp that responds the way the Grace does. It's like five amps in one, all accessible via your volume knob. Brian is a wizard.

Interesting about the Obsidian. I guess people were complaining? Mike did offer to mod my Granophyre with a NFB knob, so very excited to see if that can make the amp more versatile. He is also doing custom aesthetics to match the Silver Jubilee.

Don't blame ya. Can't believe what Naylors go for now. The world has gone crazy
Yeah just sold my SD60 for $3800 in under 24h. I'm going to miss that amp but I have the Naked, the Carstens, and the IIC+, all of which can conjure those tones.

Ok saw a naked gor sale about a month or so on reverb a black on
Yeah, that was mine. I wasn’t really trying to sell it, that’s why it was listed at that ridiculous price. I was just seeing if there was someone on Reverb who had more money than sense. Somewhat surprisingly, there wasn’t ?

Ok team, I have a topic that I thought would make a fun thread. I need to sell some gear. Not because I have to but because I am literally out of room and over my personally set limits. I want to get to no more than 13 amps and no more than 12 guitars. I play mostly dark hard rock in the vein of AiC, APC, Tool, Smashing Pumpkins, etc. I also love classic rock tones like GnR, Zeppelin, Van Halen, etc. There's also a dash of punk in there, stuff like AFI, Blink, and Green Day. Finally, I grew up in the 90s so always play a lot of old grunge and post-grunge stuff like Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, STP, Metallica, etc.

Here's my current inventory of guitars and amps. Some I already have and some are incoming.

The question is: which would you list for sale or not list for sale, and why or why not?

I've put the ones I'm leaning towards listing for sale in italics.

Thoughts??
Bolded and underlined are I what I would sell myself.

I wouldn't sell things that could be worth thousands down the road and then keep a few favorites

Did I miss something?
The lead time on a new one is ridiculous, that's what's driving up the cost. When I spoke with David King at Naylor back in January he quoted me a 22 month wait time on a new Super Drive -- minimum. There's a lot of people out there who want one and don't want that wait, so they're willing to pay.

Well, 22 month is still not the worst I heard. Hermansson waitlist for Marshall rebuilds is 3-4 years I afaik.

Still sad that we can’t get enough of good amps.

What was your reverb name ?

No, I don't. I've owned two Camerons, an Atomica and an Ocean. While they're very fun to play, I don't care for them. Just not my sound.
I was thinking of selling my Atomica. I was going to sell it back a while ago when I got my Dan Gower/Fortin Killer Kali ++ modded JCM 800, but never did.
