It does make it difficult for someone with a used amp to sell. They dropped “prices” significantly last year but have had zero product to sell here in the US. Which means a guy with a mint 2yr old amp has to take a bath for essentially no reason at allThat definitely doesn't bode well haha
Most tight switches I see are done by reducing the coupling cap around the first stage. Marshall is using a resistor to ground for their tight switch? Any gut shots on the 800?The 800 modified has a mid shift, cathode resistor/cap switch (I think), and a tight switch (resistor). And it looks like it might be PCB built.

Honestly I thought it would have sounded far worse
