Jason was it partial open? I like a convertible or 3/4 open back....not fully open! I would still want a bigger 112 than that.

I don't think is was fully open but it wasn't fully convertible either,I was pretty stoked with it rich, sound huge tight and had super cleans great amp for 399.I honestly would't even think bigger on the cab, just get 2 :D

I was going to look at getting a Mesa wide body 112 3/4 back, avatar Vintage 112 or Mojo cab but getting two of these little monsters may be cool, plus it will add project and the ability to hear if I have it on stage. Good call man!

It would be nice however having a big 112 so I could use it with the Mod 50 if I desire.

So Jason, essentially it was partially open? I can't find any details on the cab. This might be more versatile having two of these cabs than one large oversized 112. Would be nice for little jam sessions and writing sessions. Wish it had a direct for recording like the Rebel 30! Does it work well with the stock speaker? I might be able to get some Greenbacks in that cab! Hehehe

OK - found this on G Center's site. I thought it came with G30s!? No need for the 80 watt speakers. Plus, this sounds like the Rebel cabinet, not the Tweaker cab.

The Egnater Rebel 112X is a 1 x 12" birch speaker cabinet that combines musical prowess and functionality. The closed-back cab is loaded with a custom-voiced Egnater Celestion Elite 80 speaker. The front-ported design provides maximum bass response and sweet singing highs. With a height of just over 15" and width of less than 19", it's compact enough to fit on any size stage and is the perfect complement to the Rebel 20 head.

Wish I could see a pic of the back.

I asked Bruce about it compared to the Rebel cab. He said.

Different look/size/shape, open back w/G12H30. We'll call it 1/3 open

Anyone know if it can take EL-84s. I am seriously considering the Tweaker.....or a Budda Superdrive 18.

Jason mentioned he read it takes other tubes as well?

Either way, anyone else try the Tweaker? How do you guys like the responsiveness when rolling off volume to get clean? With being only one channel it would have to be very responsive in that respect.
