Well you didn't HAVE to. :sneaky:

Actually it's hard to see, but it's what happens to a mohawk when you let it grow out. Under the hair the sides of my head are shaved. I had hair down to my ass since I was 12 until not too long before this picture when I shaved the mohawk in there.

For the record I am and have always been primarily a bassist. And while I have no affinity for ANY wang bar, much less the venerable Floyd Rose, my name isn't actually Floyd. It is however the only name I have ever used on the internet. There's a story behind why I chose that name but I ain't gonna tell it.
 
This would have been right after I got home from California. It’s in a ponytail but it’s there. And that’s my favorite aunt who shot herself in the head a year or so after this was taken.




And here with my “Hash” shirt on when I was about 16 and fresh out of a year or so in the custody of Missouri DYS.
