This is pretty contentious. I always have Mike recap since I gig my amps & need them to be 100% reliable. Collectors may or may not prefer all original, but when caps do fail they can make a me$$. I figure good caps get you 20-25 years, and more is certanly possible but on borrowed time. Kind of like when your dog is over 10-12 years old..
