the lack of metal in the promo makes me believe they don't have the desire to sell these.

If you get a new C+ do you have to send it back in to Mike B for a ++ mod?

I had a Mark III that had a 105 power transformer with a C++ mod, I bought it for $600.00 off of Craigslist about 10 years ago. I see Mark III's in the $2500 dollar range now.....

If they get somewhat close I would imagine anyone that doesn't want to pay vintage prices will purchase the new ones, so it might affect the vintage prices somewhat in a deflationary trend. I would imagine the design team had a lot of pressure to make it sound like the old ones so it shall be interesting to see what comes out of it.

I totally agree the initial clip should have been some Metallica and Dream Theater riffs because that is going to be the yardstick that these reissue amps are going to be measured.

When I was at Mesa this Summer I saw the IIC+ and the 2 Ch Recto reissues but they wouldn't let me play them. I did tell those guys they should let me do the demo for them as I fully understand this amp and who is gonna buy it. They seemed to agree but it didn't happen.

Yep and that was some honky tone in that video.

Hint; a is not a on the GEQ. A is the standard. I.E. those two sliders one inside the outer two are crucial.
