I really have to try a Soldano ! It is one of the amps that I have yet to own or play through.

They are very cool, particularly in a mix. Sitting in front of it it also fun, but they like to be pushed. One of the best power sections ever, stays super clean.

So your telling me that if your a celeb and someone throws money your way,
you'd thumb your nose at it especially in these days of sympathetic cry baby's who blame all
there problems on everyone else but themselves .
WOKE MY ASS
Go get em George.

Have you read anything George puts out about mean, greedy corporations, millionaires, and people who are out for every dime? His ideas about how everyone else should behave don't line up with his own behavior. If he's out for money, hell yeah! Go for it. Take as much as anyone will give you. But don't cry foul when others do the same.

Read what George puts out about society. It's the very definition of woke.

i knew i liked you!
i fell in love with the egnater tol 100 at that shop. i think they may have had the A and B xtc at the shop at some point. wasn’t the A the vai love secrets amp john ou bought? did you own it too?
rumour has it that i’m mot much of a vai guy🤣 but some of his crunch tones on ALS were his best
LOL preach on Pat..

Seems james Lugo had one of lynch`s SLO`s at an amp shoot out. Said it was a dud compared to other amps there. I think Line 6 got their whole idea from George, back in the day he used so much effects it sounded like a line 6.

Mike Soldano retired building amps so he could develop this SLO-TOY. What a POS. They get that washed-up bum George to hawk it, as if he'd ever use it.
PS, my purple SLO (BAD) that I recently sold had major tolex imperfections that were not there when I bought it. Right out of the box the handle's metal ends kept popping off. Great QC guys!

The new america :loco:
The product in my opinion, is what I think of as a "desk piece". It's gonna sit there on some guys desk..maybe guys who already have real SLO's that want something to talk about. The clip WITH GL, inside of (presumably) a high end studio, produced and edited still sounds like dogshit. They have made badass SS amps for years. Tech 21, Quilter, ect. What does this do other than saying Soldano on it that none of those could? Impulse purchase toys. Nobody in a band or gigging is going to realistically view this as an option for their main rig, and even at home/bedroom I view it as a lesser option.

I thought I wanted the SLO 30 until I watched this. I time stamped when he compares to a SD1 boosted 800...game over.

His demos always sound like garbage, no matter the amp. IR's, interfaces, all that jazz. I understand its the wave of the future, but it sounds like ear-grating garbage. Can't stand impulse responses. Instant unpleasant artifacts.

Im not sure I get these mini Amps at all. The various reviewers on YT seem to just output them to impulses on a PC. You might as well just use a pedal.

But then you might say, well try it through a real 4x12 or 2x12. Well......youve just offset the portability aspect with the Cabs. So you might as well just use a tube amp.....

I think its a gimick.

For the same price you can get a nice little low watt, tube combo amp, which will be louder for gigs, probably more versatile, and comes with a bloody speaker.

Am I going crazy?

There's only a couple amps I haven't owned one is a Cameron but of all of the amps I have owned the Soldano Slo 100 is the best amp on earth to me!

-3 legit usable channels (cali/marshall/fender) all sound good
-can plug into a 4x12 and it cranks, if you want
-perfect low volume but full sounding amp
-REAL accutronics spring reverb (sounds great)
-light as a feather
-great FX loop
-tech 21 DI

Came out 20 years ago, can be found used for less than this Soldano amp will be sold at. I am not trying to simply rip the Soldano minis or any of the new mini heads, but these mini heads are not a step forward in any way.

They're shooting the video and they're going to make an announcement tomorrow, possible signature amp? I know George has had his signature amps on stage but in the past he's has played through a Slo 100 that he keeps backstage. He likes the signature amp money but he still knows where the real tone is🤣🤘

Turns out it's a Slo Mini amp.

A 1 watt hopefully , they would sell millions and millions because you can crank the 1 watt models and not wake the entire neighborhood up .
