You don't get it. He doesn't have to do it your way. He can do it whatever way he wants. He has the right to not have his personal or company stuff taken and redistributed by someone without his permission. That pissed him off. It would piss you off too if someone got some pics of your mom in compromising positions that she posted on photobucket because she was clueless and then they reposted them. Why he used that service as opposed to his IT dept or what the content was is irrelevant. It is his content and he has every right to be pissed. Could he have handled it better? Sure. Don't support his company if you don't like it. You are still more wrong then him. He is pissed at someone disrespecting his property and you are spreading his shit all over the place. Not even close. He didn't slam that guy anywhere else but on his own forums. Hell, did he even ban him? If not then there really is no contest.
lol....You're the one that's not "getting it." Sure, he doesn't have to use his own personal website....he can use Photobucket if he wants to. But, if he does use Photobucket....they ARE available to the public whether he (or you) like it or not....this is how the website works. Ignorance to this fact is not an excuse. User beware....if someone has a problem with that, DON'T POST THEM THERE. Now, there are steps that the website allows the user to execute in order to not have his/her pics shared....but the user must do this. By default though, this is not the case....they are not going to do this for you. So, it is what it is. If you had a Photobucket account and you did not take the steps to "lock" them down, I could post your pics all over hell and back. You may not like it, but you would have been the one to make them available. When you sign up for a photobucket account, you're allowing your pics to be shared with the general public, unless you specify otherwise. I can't break it down for you anymore basic than that.
