I've implemented a perma-ban on all things Kings X. My inability to lock down the timing on "Over my Head" in a short time got me booted from my previous band.

Got tone from Earcandy to Gretchen to Dogman on this one! Boy you can tell the Fender elite is all over the album! I love it!

Haven't dug anything that they have put out since Dogman and before. I love all that stuff and Flies and Blue Skies ranks among my best songs ever list. That being said, I will check this out just like I have checked out every other release they have put out.

XV seems to get better every time I listen to it, kinda like most of KX's stuff for me. Certainly in my top 5 bands of all time

This is true of a lot of Kings X stuff....nothing has been immediate to me since Dogman....although tonewise, I'm digging Ogre Tones better than XV (yes, I did torrent the whole lot)

There's a couple of stand-out songs I really like and I'll be buying it of course

Cool. I'm going through my second listen today. Definitely liking it more. I still don't like Ty's recent lyrical work. A little on the corny side.
