Watching Cape Fear right now. On AMC. I've seen it 4 or 5 times now. So good.
Oh yeah. I forgot about that one. Need to see that again.Kutcher's "The Butterfly Effect" is a good flick.
was it a remake of the kevin bacon / meryl streep movie or something completely different? The River Wild (Netflix) was pretty good. Had a few spots where the Director/scene sequence could have been better but overall, 8/10
(I'm a sucker for movies with rivers in it/wilderness survival/ocean survival/etc)
Not familiar with the original but a quick Google search tells me they are very similar. More twists and turns at the end than a whitewater r.....never mind.was it a remake of the kevin bacon / meryl streep movie or something completely different?
Sounds like my kind of flick. But don't give away TOO much in your descriptions"upgrade" on Netflix was cool flick, different concept. Set in future, guy becomes paraplegic, and has an implant put in to give him movement but the implant is AI and has more power than he knew / was aware. I'm not a sci fi / techie kind of guy but movie was good.
Me too brother.Sounds like my kind of flick.
I still need to check this one outBlood Red Sky (German film) - good girl vampire hijacked plane scenario
sorry, didn't feel i was giving away too much. will do better. The original "river wild" with bacon and Streep was good. Not familiar with the original but a quick Google search tells me they are very similar. More twists and turns at the end than a whitewater r.....never mind.

No doubt the whole thing was great.Agreed. Ryan at his best IMHO.
He excels at brooding / quiet-guy roles I reckon.
Platoon is pure art man. Almost named my son Elias. One of the best ever made.My top 3 that I'll probably watch forever:
Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982)
Platoon (1986)
Almost Famous (2000)
