That thing sound awesome, a vintage sounding Diezl I think I would dig!
Would love to hear the same riffs played thru a LP w/low output Pickups!

Any chance to have a clip with a humbucker guitar and the Paul: a les Paul into the Paul for example?

Okay guys, as requested, here is a Les Paul through Channel 2 (mostly), and then channel 3 starts at about the 40 second mark.

Channel 2 gain was set at about 9 o'clock.

Channel 3, gain at about 10 o'clock. The guitar is a 50th anniversary R0 Les Paul, and the bridge pickup is a Fralin Unbucker, which is kind of bright and maybe 9K.

Awesome with a great top end zing to the open unwound strings, something a lot of modern amps trying to do vintage seem to be missing.

Indeed, sounds great. I have ordered a Paul last week, after hearing the clip at NAMM ... but I am very happy to hear Paul sounding excellent with humbuckers too...

thanks for the clip!

Thanks for checking out the clips guys. I think this amp will do well for Diezel. There are so many great tones in this amp, from beautiful cleans to heavily overdriven stuff and everything in between.

Here's one last clip of Channel 2. Hotter pickup this time.

(And I have no idea how to stop the continuous play of tracks on soundcloud. Not sure if it's possible, but it is really annoying!)

Thank you guys. Okay, I'm trying a different host site. Soundcloud murders the audio quality of the original mp3s I upload.

Any suggestions? I'm looking for a site that people don't need an account for.

Man I am sooo Jealous. nah, I am happy for you. I have wanted this amp since I heard
Andy Wood, demo it. Has a gorgeous clean tone. I can't wait to reel one in.

Thanks man. If you end up pulling the trigger on one, I think you'd love it. Like you, I was originally keen on getting the Paul more for how great the cleanish, lower gain tones are. I loved it at Namm with a Friedman strat style guitar that was on hand. It just sounded fantastic. Didn't even try it with humbuckers.

Then when I got the amp home, the awesome higher gain tones with humbuckers just put it over the top. It's not often that I find a channel switcher that does it for me on all 3 or even 2 channels, but this one does in a big way.

Okay, thank you Reza.

Let's try this for now. Hopefully it works.

This is gain at 10 o'clock?... O.K, I think I need to sell some stuff.... What speakers are you using?

Yeah, about that setting for the gain. Keep in mind, that is with the hotter wolfgang pup, and I'm also maxed out on the channel and master volumes, so I'm moving some air! I added the link to Les Paul clip, next to the wolfgang clip, so it's easier to compare. Similar level of gain on the amp was used for both clips, but you can hear a considerable difference.

As for speakers, what you're hearing is a blend of V30s and G12H30 70th anniversaries in an x pattern. One SM57 was used about four feet in front of a Bogner 4x12.
