Got mine yesterday. Fantastic amp, fantastic value.
Serial number: 001 :D

Excellent! Congrats on the amp. My serial number reads P2. Not sure what that means. The amp was the one at NAMM in January, so maybe prototype #2 ??

Just played the amp again (at 5.30 am in the morning - haha). Fantastic.
The semi cleans, right before the sounds goes into distortion for the bluesy stuff are simply amazing.
And of course the heavy stuff is built in as well. Channel 1 gain full is the shit . . . Congrats Peter!

When will it be in the stores? :)

Vintage Diezel.
Never thought I'd hear those two words together.
But WHOA!...I'm sure glad Peter did :D
Sounds awesome!

Good Lord! Just listened through all the clips! I WANT ONE!!!

Hi Peter, just contact Peter.
The first batch is already sold out AFAIK, but he should def. know into which stores the next batch will be shipped. He has a flight to Japan soon, so you may want to put Peter Stapfer in CC.

nice sound clips, has a Classic Marshall Crunch vibe to it. Are the KT77 power valves interchangeable for EL34? How much cost the amp in Europe?

Sounds great and congratulations. I'd like to hear what it sounds like with heavier chording, maybe som DJENT kind of stuff, and if it does that liquid lead type thing that Diezels are usually so good at.

Oh man, that style is so far removed from how I play. I wouldn't even be qualified to answer that. Gain at noon on channel 2 is more than enough for my tastes. I'm not really spending any time on channel 3, except for some lead playing here and there. From my limited high gain experimentation on the Paul, the bottom end does stay tight. I'm never tuned any lower than half a step down from standard though.

Thought I would share some more Diezel Paul love with a new clip.

This was recorded on channel 2 with 3 different guitars. First, RO Les Paul with Fralin Unbucker, followed by GMW super strat with Suhr SSV+. The last guitar is a Performance Corsair with Suhr Aldrich pickup that starts in split mode before the guitar's volume gets turned up and it switches to humbucking mode. The recording is a bit too hot on the last part, but you get the idea. The gain level on channel 2 was set at just below noon for the entire clip.

the link doesnt work

Hmm, that's strange. I just checked and can access it on my iPad. Maybe there was an issue with the host site earlier.
